Vanguard Mezzanines is a division of Vanguard Contracts Limited and is one of the UK's leading designers, manufacturers and installers of Mezzanine Floors for the Retail, Commercial, Industrial and Storage sectors. Working nationwide we are able to undertake Mezzanine contracts on an individual basis or as a complete Turnkey Fit-Out project in conjunction with Vanguard Contracts our parent company.
Mezzanine Floor Design & Planning.
In the UK all Mezzanine Floors require Building Regulations approval and must comply with British Standards for Design of Structural Steelwork, CDM Regulations and current Fire Safety standards. In most applications we are able to provide an immediate quotation based on your requirements. However for more complex applications, an initial site survey undertaken by our engineers will establish your specific requirements and evaluate the scope and limitations of your working environment.
Our CAD designers, experienced in all aspects of Mezzanine Floor and support structure design, utilise the latest AutoCAD software & 3D Visualisation packages and can produce state-of-the-art drawings for Client approval. Individually designed to meet each Clients specific requirements, the CAD drawings will maximise usable space whilst ensuring the design of the Mezzanine Floor meets functional and regulatory requirements. All Vanguard Mezzanines are designed to conform to the latest Government design guide for Mezzanine platforms, BRE Digest 437 and all relevant British Standards and Health & Safety requirements.
If preferred Vanguard will on client approval of the drawings, seek Building Regulation approval for the structure.
Manufacture of Mezzanine Floor.
Our systems combine lightweight construction, a superior powder coated finish and a wide range of colour options to complement any environment. A unique edge protection system provides a functional and neat solution that integrates both handrail and toe plate into the handrail post providing a robust edge detail with no sharp edges or exposed bolts.
Staircases are powder coated to provide a highly durable finish with excellent gloss retention and our designers can provide advice regarding Document M of the Building Regulations, which requires Ambulant Disabled Staircases to be fitted in certain conditions.
Mezzanine Floor Installation.
An experienced Contracts Manager is assigned to each project with responsibility for adherence to the build programme, quality of installation and compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Contracts Manager will be your single point of contact throughout the project, ensuring complete accountability from survey to sign-off.
Vanguard is fully conversant with the latest CDM and Health & Safety regulations and will ensure that all work is carried out to the appropriate standards.
The Vanguard Contracts Manager will ensure that disruption to your workplace is kept to a minimum by scheduling the installation times to best suit the needs of your business.
